I am now a 97 3.0 owner!
I just bought a 97 3.0, and love it. I bought it pretty much all stock... here are some pictures

I want to pickup some nice rims, put in a navi...etc. but i want to start with small mods that i want... for example i was thinking of installing a set of bmw round headlights...

any good places i can find the small mods like these?

Nice car - I have always liked red CLs. BTW - installing "round BMW headlights" is no small mod - talk to VXCL... First thing I would do is debadge that beauty! (free too)

i've never even seen the bmw lights on the cl... i just think it'll look good... why debadge?

those round BMW headlights that tmoth's talking about are called projectors.. ask VXCL hes the man when it comes to those stuff

search this board...

use the 'search' button up there next to the logout button..

then type in VXCL and projectors

after u find a thread.. find a post VXCL made.. and PM him.

Hey, you got the same color as me too. I luv the red cls. Make sure you get those side skirts painted if you don't get a kit.

What's the best way to paint them? It looks like a lot of the paint would chip right off.

Btw, is it me or is he missing a cover in the engine bay? The one that covers the lights in front, by the hood latch? Did the '97 come with it?
