yeap....im selling the hydros on the alero

and btw those who thinks hydros ride like crap have obviously never ridden in a juiced car with accumulators...basicly they are remote mounted shock absorbers..My car rides a hell alot better than the CL and considerably close to a caddy...luv the ride on em

my setup im askin 3k but its plug and play. the rack you lay in and run the lines, then just have somebody weld the cups to your factory strut and yur done....its a show setup on a 24v ssytem

plus the best part is there is no neg camber since the cylinders adjust themselves when it lays down...that and no air ride can come close to the drop you get from these.

8" of travel up and down aka lay your shit right!!

pics of the setup are in my sig at my cardomain page

Why do any sort of modifications @ all?

There's a 2nd gen member here that runs hydraulics with a black CL non-type S.

I absolutely love his car.

Good luck w/ your sale mang.

I love people who ask why, exactly as its already said...Its a style, some people like the minutrckin and layin your car out, some for for straight race, some like a mix. Personally nothing looks better than a car tuckin and draggin but thats my personal style. Its like saying just because I like the color blue, you shouldnt like orange....

the equipment isnt what costed trust me. Here I'll do ya one better I'll break down the cost.

CCE 2 pump Street setup (marzzochi heads) New pump motors rebuilt inside for heavier use.

* Pump setup including dumps, slow down valves, solonoids, etc, switchbox, 5 8" cylinders, lines, fittings etc= $1700
* 2 Optima yellow tops Batteries = $300
* Custom rack made from rollbar and painted candy apple blue = $1800
* Accumulators = $400
* Shut off valves for accumulators = $200
* Install and welding cups to factory struts = $500

Since im not a welder i obviously wont weld it myself when im talking my life.

Most hydro setups will cost $2k or so but its gonna look like shit...Talk to any hydro shop and ask em an install price for a show setup and your talkin 4k+

Hell just look at the hydro guys who ride oldskool cars. Most have 10k plus into their setup.

Im more of a fan gettting quality when it comes to suspention thats a key thing that holds you off the ground, plus i dont want just 2 pumps and a crapload of batteries laying around in my trunk

and from seeing your car, you know how much things can cost when you go for quality, its never cheap..i think i read somewhere you paid $7000 for a paint job..Sounds rediculous to normal people but to show guys we know how it goes. 7k is avg price for a flawless paint job

Heres my other side, my car when layd out literally is flat on the floor. There is no tow truck in the world that can get me on their flatbed without a spatula, so I cannot have cheap parts that are gonna leak or fail or drop me. If i was on 13's and did long springs then yes, id go cheaper parts because if worse case something went wrong I could still get home with just a bumpy ride. Doesnt work that way with this car. Not sure how low you CL lays but id imagine there isnt much room for error either

i wish i could pick up that set up from you for my colo...but i think i'm going with air. considering we have to Z the front end, link the rear, and pretty much rearrange everythin under the hood just to lay frame...i have a lot of expensive prep work to do before the boss will let me buy the rest of my suspension...but i will be draggin my truck by next spring.

oh and your alero looks clean as hell laid out...did you see the one on www.streetsourcemag.com with the rwd conversion and a ls1 under the hood??

Sounds like you got hosed for the setup, I paid that for 2 g force prohopper pumps for the rear and an la series for the front, 8s and 14, coil over 3 dumps solinoids and everything else, I am in my setup less than 5 gs I also got 10 trojan batts and mild frame reinforcements.
