hub removal
I have been tryin to replace the wheel studs on my friends cl, but I cannot get the hub off. Are their any tricks to getting the sucker off? Is the hub nut a screw off thing or am I just going about this the wrong way?

First tell us what type of CL you have. 2.2, 2.3, 3.0???? And what year, 97,98,99? That way we can be of more assistance.

But for a 97, the general process is having to remove the 4 bolts behind the wheel assembly. To do that your going to have to remove the axle nut, separate the lower control arm, push the axle through the hub assembly, and then swing the wheel assembly to the side to get to the four hub bolts.
Then you can take the rotors off and remove the wheel studs. If this is the process your going to have to go through I recommend changing the rotors at the same time cuz you don't want to have to go through it again.
Good Luck,
James

athlon is that the way to do it without a hub removal tool? 97s are much harder then 98+ and i would agree with athlon to chaneg the rotors while your at it.
