I noticed that the little silver thing that covers the low beam light is off and dangling around in the headlamp on the passenger side.

 

No need to post it 3 times.

 

If you read the any of the other posts you would have seen that it was a mistake!

anyway.
-take the headlight off. bake it in the over at 180F for 4 minutes. that should be adequate enough to soften the seal.
-take a flat screwdriver and pry the glass apart from the casing.
-reattach the broken piece and reseal the headlight. make sure you do a good job tho. condensation loves to find its way in there.
-that is roughly how it goes, but search around, because there are more specific instructions.
