How noticable are the purple D2 coilovers?

I've come to the conclusion that the D2 coilvers are the best bang for your buck but my problem is that they're PURPLE :ghey:. I think that's horrible. So my question is can you see the purple coilovers if I dropped my car about 2-3 inches. I want a black and dark grey color scheme with a red accent. Meaning my car is black my interior is dark grey, my rims are dark grey or hyper black and then I want a red accent on the brake calipers. Now I know the omnipowers are red and silver so I might go with those if I have to but they aren't adjustable and since I don't know how much of a drop I want I want adjustability in my coilovers. I just don't think I could live with myself if the purple was noticable. I might have to go TEIN SS w/pillowballs but those are $1200.

purple coilovers are fine... hell, even IF anyone sees em' and recognizes em, they'll KNOW you're on Coils which is a good thing

btw the only way they'd be noticible is if your cars lifted or your hood/trunk are open (so people see the tops).

Otherwise, you should be fine

OK thanks that good to know. Does everyone else agree with agranado?
Also if I added a sway bar in the front that would cover the purple wouldn't it? That's another possible mod in the future.

You can't see them unless you lay your head on the side of the pavement. Even so, a lot of people get bright, metallic colored suspension components so that you can see that the car is modded. Besides, anybody who really knows about suspensions knows that D2s are really, really nice.

Anyways, no worries man

just don't drive it in a cold climate.

I've blown at least 3 shocks on the rear since I got mine, but it get;s cold as shit overnight, and then is sunny again, so I think I'm just fucked in that respect.

Florida or cali should be alright.
