NEED INPUT. Just got the Apexi ® Super VTEC AFC-2 from a friend. And I was wondering before I call around I shall ask the good ol members from the Acura forum because I'm very lazy!..Just a few questions.

1. First big question obviously, how much is it gonna be to get it Installed/Tuned Professionally?. (I know how to install but I'm mainly concerned about dyno and getting it tuned RIGHT.)

2. Also, How much HP gain could i get out of that unit if it is tuned correctly to our engines?

Not bad for free, go to www.vtecfrog.com and get one of the adapter harnesses, it'll save you a LOT of install time and money.

 

Your siggy shows you have a unichip. You wont get any more out of a tuned vafc as what you've already gotten out of a tuned unichip. So the vafc will just be for show unless you dont have the unichip programmed to your mods already.

then put the sucker in and tune it, and tell us what your results were. I got like 12whp and 11-13 lbs of torque. The dyno is in my room, rather not go way over there to look at it for exact numbers. But every car will be different depending on how good the tuner is. I got mine tuned at Rage Motorsports. They build some sweet ass drag cars for professional racers. They've had plenty of their cars in magazines. One of their most famous eg's was the turbo'd h22 putting down 744whp.
