Well, I'm kinda getting to that point where I'm itching for something different....with rwd. Kind of looking into a used mid 90's SC300 and possibly a JZ swap somewhere down the line (vertex bodykit, crazy 10 inch works on stretched rubber)...but I was just wondering what 1st gen cl's typically sell for in the areas you are in. I was actually surprised to see that private party values here in Oregon even for 97's with around 100k miles is around 7-8k for good condition. Dealer price for same vehicle is around 9k. I've actually seen some of them too and the interior/exterior condition is nowhere near 'my' idea of great. Now I'm not quite sure if that's what they actually end up 'selling' for, but it appeared to be the general resale from what I saw. I'm in Oregon, btw.

5-6 depending on 3.0 or 2.x, with average milage of 180km, maybe more for 3.0.

i picked up my 3.0 less than a year ago for like 5g's cdn. with 240,000kms on it.

have fun finding the SC300 they're friggen scarce up here, the SC400's are what i find the most. always been a fan of those, like you said JZ swap and VIP the fckr.

yep finding an sc locally in good shape might be a task, but i already have a few prospectives....

not for sure on the sale of the CL, but if the right SC comes along, I'd pretty much kiss the CL goodbye. It's been a wonderful car, but I don't want to deal with impending tranny death down the road...
