How much did your 90k service cost?

I am talking about the big one that includes timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, etc....Dealer just quoted me about $1,200..this just seems a little high to me?

It's about that time for me as well (92k on 3.0). Anybody have some figures? Is adjusting the valves absolutely neccesary (no pinging or rough idle or anything, been runnin Mobil 1 since first oil change)

Timing belt change on the 3.0CL is at 105K, not 90K.

I don't know what the charge is.

I swapped engines rather than pay an outrageous bill for timing belt change, idler timing belt change, water pump change, and new accessory belts (all necessary at 105K miles). Plus I would have needed the valves adjusted and new head gaskest and valve cover gaskets which were destroyed due to nitrous.

I just called today, the (honda) dealer said $428. I said no tire rotation and plug change and now the total is $380.

Can you elaborate on this? I was thinking of getting the spray sometime, but I don't want any of this mess later on.

The last time I had head gaskets changed (focking Ford POS), it was $1000. :o

lol time for some of you to check the search button and your manual

And $350 doesn't sound that unreasonable for a 60k service. I got a quote of $320 from an independent shop recently.
