How much for 3.0

hey guys Im a newbie here and i have a few general questions. So I graduate in May in Finance and will soon get a real job. I am looking to purchase a 3.0 cl (tired of not having a good car). What is a good price to pay and is there anything that a buyer should be on the lookout for? Appreciate your help, great site.

I got my 97 3.0 Premium with about 70,000 miles for $10,000 about a year and a half ago.

If you want an automatic, I'd suggest avoiding the 4 cyliner models, and go with the 3.0 V6.

Also, the 98's and 99's have a couple of detail improvements over the 97s.

If you're looking for a good deal 9,500 for a 98 3.0 would be good.

If you're getting the 3.0 I would definitely make sure that the car shifts very smoothly through all gears before buying - if it doesn't you could be dropping $2000 within six months to get your tranny fixed. It's not something that affects all 3.0s, but it has happened to enough of us that you should keep an eye out for it.

I'm selling my 97 3.0 black on black with 45k mile for $10,500 It's got 17" gun metal rims brand new just about 2weeks old keenwood head unit clear coners and it runs great The reason that i'm selling it is because I just can't afford to pay insurance it's really expensive out here in NYC. If interested or know of anyone that is hit me back. The price could be negotiable

Hey thanks for all the good advice, as far as the tranny on the 3.0, i thought honda recently extended the warranty on some of their transmissions. I'll do a search to learn more about the tranny issue.
