How many miles do you all have on your 1st gens? I just turned 125k the other day. When would you say a CL might be too old to start dumping money into mods?

 

108k still running super strong, honda engines when taken care of can last forever.

 

I think there was one guy who has 226k miles on his odo, on a 2.2 5-sp. He bought it for $1500. I wish I could find that and just get a h22 swap straight up in that thing, new paint job, new headlights, new corners, and u got urself a pretty new lookin car.

Mine = 76k and 1st tranny! bam!

O ya i am lucky enough to still be in the first Tranny club too, i dont know for how much longer though...

Damnn a lot of yall have low mileage on your CL's thats great to hear I have a 97 3.0 CL with 98K on it still running strong. Oh and to answer your question about how many miles is to many miles to dump money into your car thats your decision. But as MyCarmesita said if you keep you honda engine in shape oil checks and so on, your car will run for a lonnngggggg time.
