How many 1st Gen owners plan on maybe getting into a second gen in the future? i know alot of people here love their first gens, as do I, but i just wonder who is thinking of getting a second gen. I would like to be in a 6spd by next year maybe.

 

I sold my first gen, and I was REALLY thinkin about a 6-sp

but i decided on the IS300 instead

 

naaa..... i just bought a truck a week ago.... but thats just cause i need something for all the shit i build etc....but my next car is gonna be an older porsche for sure....i dont know how ill afford it, but its gonna happen.. the acura was fun, but its time to play with the big boys

 

my wife wants to get rid of our explorer so ill prolly get the new 05' RL. (nice)

 

there's an idea. that car is gonna be off the hook.

i highly recommend this car over the lexus... gotta get navigation though... when a chick sits in the car for the first time... jaws drop

 

I'd consider a used '03 6sp if I was ready to buy one right now


but since I'm not ready to buy a different car yet, I probably won't get a car that's not made anymore

 

are there any problems with the 6spd tranny? i know all the other tranny's are cursed.

 

nah i wouldnt trade my 1gen for a 2nd gen.

does me wanting to get rid of my CL for a 1960-63 Caddy convertible count as rolling with the big boys?

 

actually from what i heard....
the honda 6 speed trannies are built like bullets (my neighbor works in honda service)
i can honestly say no problems at all. . .
ive got 33k miles and its smooth ever during full throttles...

 

nope if i get anything to replace the 1st gen it'll be a g35 or something else RWD...CLS6's are cool but i want RWD

 

has anyone drove the 6spd rx-8 yet?

 

i was going to get an 03...but i wasnt able to order them with the options i wanted when i was ready to get one..so i saw a first gen...and i loved the looks better..

i wish i had a 2nd gen interior, with a first gen exterior...and a 2nd gen motor

yea i love all the new acura's they have come a long way from being exactly like honda, i would defiently look at a CL-S, TL or RL defiently in 6-spd

 

After I get rid of the CL, my next car is gonna be a 5th gen GTI.

 

i dont like the new CL.. unless a hotty is in it

 

I'm not really attracted to the G2. I know the G3 has got to be hot though, like the new TL. I'm with liloj about he G2 interior and motor and the G1 body.

 

i thought about not modding and jsut saving for the upgrade, but then i realized that i like the looks of the 1st gen better

 

If I could get an '03 White w/Ebony and Navi 6 speed...........I would.


But with there being only 12 made I don't think my odds are very good.

I don't like the exterior of the 2nd gens but the rest of the car is super super nice. I can work with the exterior and a whole lot more is made for it so would I consider maybe, But I'm with jz-97-c7 I wants something rwd or awd

Right now i'm lookin in the way of a replacement, but not second gern, more like 4 doors. Like a mid 90's 325i, or 535i with 5spd. I take end up being the driver for many a road trip, need some more doors and room

i will be stuck w/ my 98 for a while now (in college) but after that i'd def. buy another acura. after owning 2 so far, i can't imagine buying any other car.... except an infiniti G35 coupe, because they are HOT.

if i could afford it, i'd get the 03 TL type S. i love the way it looks, and the 04 is ugly.

 

the car I'd get if I could afford it now is a 350Z. I love those things. G35's are nice, but the Z has more collectibilty.
