How loose should a CL's tail be?
I need to know how loose the rear of these cars should feel...
At speeds over 45-50mph, my car feels like I'm driving in high cross-winds. Granted, I've got a couple of things working against me. My "certified" bent rim was moved from the front to the back to minimize the amount of vibration I'd feel while I waited for the replacement rim to arrive (2 weeks waiting so far). I'm sure this is causing some of the problem.
Also - I stopped to check on some tires a week ago. The tire dealer said he would only sell me 2 "V" rated tires or 2 "Z" rated tires since I have a pair of each. Otherwise, they would sell me 4 of anything (H & up). It seems my mixed brands (Michelin & Dunlop) on the car are also mixed speed ratings. The tire dealer said to have Acura fix this & he couldn't believe they would let a car leave their lot like this (especially since it was certified).
When I complained to the service manager originally about the mis-matched brands, he said that was no longer a part of the certification. However, he seems to be coming around now since I've pointed out the speed ratings.
Which brings me to this - once these items are fixed, should this car feel "tight" in the tail? I'm sure there are other issues with this car so I'd like to know how it "should" feel so I'll know whether it's right or not.
thanks gang!!
