My window is going up slowly and today it was clicking and stopped. I shut the car off and then tried again, and it went up. I'm thinking I have maybe 2-3 more times of use before the regulator is dead...think it'll be sooner?

 

youll be lucky if you get another up and down out of it

 

mine's been like that for a yr now.........

 

mine acted like that once, so i stopped using the window.

closed my door one night, and the window went down, never to come up again

had to cover the window with a bag and get a new motor/regulator

 

Lube it with some silicone spray in the tracks it'll work better

just save yourself the trouble later and order a new regulator now, i think theres a guy on ebay that sells it with a warranty

 

get it replaced ASAP

 

going to the dealership tomorrow morning that's a quick $300

 

usually i'd recommend DYI but this is one of those i'd leave to pros, apparently the metal under the door panel is really sharp

 

$300?! its really not that hard to DIY. save yourself $200+

 

Don't pay $300 for the dealer, I did and would never do it again

 

this is an incredibly quick, easy job

do not pay $300 to replace that shit

 

i don't care to mess with it, even if i'm losing money this way. i'm on spring break, it's in the 70's, and i want to use the damn windows!

 

i've done it before too...but hey, if my parents will pay for it, then whatev
