I did a search but couldn't find anything....

I want to replace the red "security activated" led in the door with a blue one.... Do I have to remove the door panel to get at it, or does that little plastic panel pop off?

I don't want to try prying it off if it is screwed down internally.

Also, does anyone have a DIY for removing the door panel?

Taking door panel isn't hard.. much easier than taking the center console off.

Then, you will see the wire hooked up there.

ive got an even more important question . . .how do i turn it on .. .i bouht my car without the keyless entry . . .is that what i need?

the way to turn it on is to use the key and lock the door! also, isn't that lil plastic cover ( the part that covers the lil bulb) red? how would you make the blue bulb show blue throught that?

There was a diy posted on this before, I think you can pop out the little plastic box with a small flathead screw driver.

i don't think the security light on the door will go on if your alarm is silenced. To arm your audible alarm, hold the trunk and lock key for a couple of seconds until the light on the remote comes on. then try locking/arming your car and see if it works.
