How to determine if engine mount is bad?
I have 1997 CL (93k miles). Went to dealer for oil change (had coupon), and they told me the front engine mount is broken.
Is there some way to test if this is true? I am not getting any vibration. Please advise.
Also, if the mount IS broken, where is the best place to buy an OEM part? I am very handy with DIY.

Here's a test for the engine mount
Open the engine bay so the mount can be visible. Have someone watch it while you torquebrake the car (as in holding down the brake pedal in drive while you rev the gas). Usually when a mount is broken, you can see the engine jump in the engine bay under these conditions. Other than that, you can normally visually see if the mount is broken.

I got my mounts on the cheap from amazon.com with free shipping. I looked up my part numbers at Advance and then searched them on Amazon. I found all except the rear transaxle mount. Had to order that from summit, but it was still cheaper.
Good luck.
Another way to check is when you start and turn off the motor. Usually you can feel it jump a bit, also run the a/c on full blast, it will tend to vibrate a bit more under those conditions.
