the 2.2 emblem is glued on. youll need a heatgun or a hair dryer, and a fishing line (not the weak ass ones).

first, use the heat gun and leave it on the spot for a bit, till shit gets soft. then, once its soft, take the fishing line and floss that sob. once its off, take of the excess glue. presto

nooo

here's the EASIEST way:

Get a credit card, or some kind of card that is as hard as one:

Shove it behind the 2.2, and go in a circle around it to remove the adhesive around the edges, then go in and pull it off....then just get some kind of cleaning spray and spray off the leftover, and your done!

I did that with ACURA on the top left, no trace if it being there!

lol credit card? fishline works the best because it doesnt have any chance of scratching anything.

fishline + hair dyer + goo gone + 5 minutes = debadged

Because you're using a hard edged surface to remove glue thats been there for years.

I used a little WD-40 to get off the remaining residue and wiped it clean.

Then I used some wax and buffed it out.

I don't think anyone is worried about ripping paint off of the car. I would be more concearned about scratching the paint, or even easier in this case, the clearcoat. It really isn't that hard to scuff up the clearcoat, i have had it done by a piece of cardboard, and a credit card is definately more abrasive than that.

I never said it would rip the paint off, read more carefully. It can cause scratches. But hey, do it your way, you know everything.
