Exclamation How Dark Should I GO?

I just got my Night Shades paint this morning. I'm going to smoke out the tail lights but I don't know how dark to go without being pulled over getting a 500 dollar ticket . I was thinking maybe two or three coats, but is that too dark? I know a couple people on here have smoked their tail lights how many coats did you spray? or did you cut dark vinyl on it? If someone has done it the way I'm planning on a and has any advice let me know Thanks!

Mine are vinyl, but if you don't want to get pulled over i wouldn't do more than 2 coats

Try one, see how it looks first, then maybe do a second layer

PM rockblocker. he sells vinyl taillight tint kits that arent permanent like a spray. If you over spray and it drips, youre fucked.

i used transparent model window tint spray from the hobby shop. i didnt clear coat the first time cause it was really glossy and looked fine. but it slowly started to chip, so i took it all off, re did it and clear coated the shit out of it and it looks hella good now.
