I'm sure some one on the board has a helms manual and can tell you what the codes are.

I just got a new solenoid, but I don't know if they put in 1 or 2. Think they might have just connected it wrong? Since this is the 4th trans. I've learned that racing isn't a good idea for me anymore, so it's rare that my rpm's go up to 4...since it's an automatic, the clutch can't really lock...can it?

Yah pretty much. I think that's just because I rushed them. Acura didn't get them the right parts the first time around and they ended up taking 2 weeks to get them the right part. Overall, I didn't have a car for 3 weeks so I was a total bitch about timing. But come on, I'm not old enough to get a rental and I had class everyday and since I don't live on campus, I had to rely on other people for every class!

the lock up solenoid is what went in my tranny (my car is sitting in my garage right now waiting for her sister parts car to come home) and i have no foreward gears. I have a reverse in the R position AND in the N! I had a thread somewhere about this but i dont remember which one it was. Wilp told me that the lock up solonoid is what controls the pressure in the tranny to lock up the TC so the RPM's are lower which saves on gas, but i dont know the entire inner workings of this. I know that i was about to buy the lockup solenoid from acura and they said that it is actually 2 solenoids. they go for 376 together or 460 serperatly.

still lookin for 700............

take the tranny back and have them re-do it or check the connections...

But it looks to me that its not what went in mine. I think that they just forgot to connect these 2 wires or got them reversed

So the solenoid wires are either not connnected or backwards? I can say that to them...since they're obviously not competent enough to fix it the first time?

You know, my engine's making this low key almost rattling sound. At first, I figured it was the tranny since that's what always dies in my car, but do you know what could be wrong with the engine?

Im thinking that since both are throwing codes and that both solenoids are the same, they look to be reversed. But i may be wrong. Tell them that you checked the helms and that this is what it said. That you want them to check what they did and see if they reversed the 2 or just forgot to connect them

Is the tranny acting up? If you're throwing these codes, there should be some sort of problems apparent.

im not to keen on engines, but let me see if that 700 code has anything to do with the motor

My thought is that it migth be anything from a loose belt pully to something flying around in the motor, but probably is not this. See if you can locate where its comming from. what side of the engine and so on and post that.

doesnt have to be tonight of course lol

Hm, no plans to be there then. The only real sporatic time we come up is for funerals haha but hey, nothin' wrong with throwing in a little car fun too - take the good with the bad, right? Plus, I still have school ending in the beginning of may and summer school starting @ the end...busy times for me!
