Honestly
So, I just got my car back last week, after not having it for 3 freakin' weeks. I got a tranny re-build, a new timing belt along with all my other belts changed, and an oil change accompanied by a new cb boot (heck if i know whether it's cv or cb and right now, i could care less). So basically, my problem is that my freakin' check engine light came BACK on today. Honesltly, what the hell else could be wrong with my car!!?!!?

how handsome I am
is there an engine under the hood?
hmm.. your best bet would be to see what the code is that the ECU is throwing at you... from there the CL guru's can begin to lead you in the right direction

Last time when I got the tranny re-built, the ECU said everything was fine. The REAL problem was a linear solenoid, which meant that I didn't really need a new tranny, the guy was just an ass and didn't want to listen to me when I told him I thought it might be the solenoid. Think it would actually work for a code this time though...guess it's worth a shot...

Anyways..
Just take your car down to autozone, they can test it for free. They will give you a code and then they will look it up for you. That will tell you exactly whats wrong with your car.
I always opt to take it there cuz what do they have to gain from feeding me a lie.

As of now, everything's fine but I know that can change very quickly. It seems as though my car likes to spite me; something always goes wrong when I'm cleaning it or in a great mood. Anyways, my light's still on since I haven't had time to get it checked yet and I just had a mustang try to race me (but the only reason i won was b/c he couldn't drive for crap) so I guess all's well for the time being!

Just for the record, hun is a term of endearment and can be used when speaking to anyone who isn't considered to be in a "superior" position

Back to the subject at hand: if I can't have my car checked for a few days (maybe even a week or so) could that do some type of major good-Lord horrid kinda damage to it?

Nope, that's what I'm sayin'. I have to work for 8-9 hours everyday this week and I'm not going to have time to take it anywhere...how possible is it for me to run into a massive problem?
