YEAH!!! Can't wait! I got the prologue but I have to say, I'm not really that impressed with GT5. It's the same as the very first Gran Turismo except less cars, less tracks, no customization better graphics, but with online with people that don't know how to race and ram you going 80 on the first turn. Forza Motorsport 2 on the other hand, was the shit. I miss my xbox 360 sometimes.

YAYY. I seriously JUST traded my 360 for a PS3 today. my brothers friend had ps3 but all his friends played 360 and i wanted to play car games and shit so i traded him. I'm not wasting my money on the prologue. Im waiting for GT5. Ill have GTA4 soon and then im also getting Grid and maybe another car game. not sure yet.. any opinions? I played a game at the store where it was revolved around drifting but i cant remember what it was called. anyone know?

Never played the first one. I went from PS, to PS2, to Xbox 360, (only because it came out before the PS3) to PS3. (traded in 360 for the PS3.) I kinda miss Xbox Live tho. The exclusive games are the best tho. Warhawk, GT5, SOCOM: Confrontation.
I do need to get a xbox 360 this summer tho. My favorite shooter is on PS3 but my favorite racing game is on the 360. =/ As someone said before...

my little brother has the 360 so it was pointless to have two 360s so im glad i have the ps3 now. he has all the shooting games ill ever need for that console. but yeah, i hope the CL is on the game when it first comes out. maybe they'll make them into different packages you have to download. They needed to add mini van's so that the cl can race of them.

I know they're going to have a ton of cars, but I also heard you could unlock a few by buying them online through your ps3. Did anyone else hear that?

as much as its cool and al for the selection of cars and the damn stunning graphics vs Forza, I gotta say I didnt really like the physics at all, and definately like Forza better as a driving game, and im sure theyll have car tuning and moding on the fll release version, but the lack of it on the prologue really kinda turned me off as well

with everything you just said. It takes too damn long to turn the wheel on GT5. Too realistic IMO. A simulator is only fun to a certain realism. I think Forza 2 had the perfect balance between realism and video game. Plus, you can do soooooo much more on Forza 2, the online classes worked great, the customizing options for the cars were amazing, and the online play never got old. AND they had my favorite track ever, ROAD ATLANTA! Like I said, I miss Forza way too much to not get a 360 this summer. Forza 3 might be pretty sweet too.

I dunno about any of that I drive with analog sticks, if im driving with a wheel there better be REAL feedback, and all that, so really, only on the open road, and the occasional arcade racing game, but thats about it

Yeah I doubt that they are going to ever have 10,000 cars....only 340 at launch? hmmm...already under delivering. I used to be a hardcore GT fan until I played Forza 2 and saw how much better the physics were. I've played the GT5 demo at the PS3 kiosks and the handling is TERRIBLE. Never thought that I would say this since I always used to choose anything made by Sony over Microsoft.

Oh it's possible, they can only squeeze so much onto a disk. Just look at rockband, they release new songs every week
