so i've been leaking gas. not too bad, but enough to need it repaired. brought it into the shop and found out its a steel braided line that is done for. how it possible for a steel braided line protected by a metal plate to break, i do not know. i was told i apparently need a whole new "send unit". i was also told this would cost around $500 after labor. F**K that. can i not just replace the line? it resides behind the panel in the middle of the pic. thanks...
