HID's
I am finally getting Phillips HID kit. I went on ebay and I seen a guy selling HID's. He posted that he had for all honda's and he will sell outside of the auction. SO I emailed him asking if he had a set for a CL.
All said and done, $250.00 with shipping.
How do you like them apples...
My car is finally coming together. I bought the car in May and so far I installed an Eibach Pro Kit, Spoiler, Air Dam,clear bumper lights, all lights super white, Air horns, 35% tint, and 5 coats of Zaino. Car looks Off Da Hook. Monday my HID's should come in (thats only if I did not get jerked). and I am looking into a "Window Spoiler". You know, like the one that AC Snitzer maker for BMW that goes ontop of the back window. Shit will look HOT.

Post the dude's email so we can buy the HID lights too! The lowest I could find was $400!
BTW.........I've been looking for the same thing for my back window. Do you think the BMW one will fit (with slighty being mod'd)? Found one for the new Jetta but it's too small. I you find a place that sells one, let me know, I'll keep you informed if I find one too.

ther is a shop around my way that is willing to custom make it. It may run me about $300 not painted but I can definetly say that I will be original.
As for the HID's go to EBAY and search for "Phillips HID" and the seller is "partsspecialist". Just email him. I will try to post a link later, right now I am at work. I do not want to get fired playing on the internet.

It's a classic case of Buyer beware I guess:
1) this is a new Ebay seller, just became a member on the 8th in fact.
2) He has one positive feedback which was left by someone on the 13th even though the auction that individul bid on ended only two days before on the 11th. Is it possible for the buyer to receive the item and have it properly installed in only 2 days?
(incidentally this buyer had no previous bidding history on any item since his initial registration back on Jun18)
3) These are offered at outrageously low prices with shipping included!??
4) The seller is currently listing a relatively large number of these, and seem to have an unlimited quantity if one is willing to contact him via Email. (Email deals would not be covered by Ebay insurance)
Just some random thoughts...

Praise : Shipped item promptly, Item worked just as described, COST IS RIGHT.
shipped and received within 2 days after the auction ended?? sounds kinda fishy...but if this is legit, I'm gonna get some HIDS!

you guys are 100% right but if it comes thru, I will be rolling deep with HID's for a beuatiful price of $250. Paypal has some type of security. Hopefully they got my back

Fellas, let's keep each other updated on this because I wanted to get some Plasma PIAA's to hold me over but $250 is F*@!ing unbeatable. Whoever gets them first please give details & pics.

I have my doubts, this guy is selling at half of the going price. Anyhow anyhere had their high beam replaced with a aftermarket Xenon kit? My CLS came with factory Xenon but only for low beam, would the Phillips kit or any other conversion kit for that matter match the Factory Xenon in turns of color?

The HIDs need a "warm up" time and wouldnt light effectively in short bursts, thats why the high beams are not HID. If they were HIDs you wouldnt be able to flash them quickly
