Instead of buying those PIAAs that are over a hundred bucks per set, why not buy real HID's for around $400?

I hear Narva Rangefinders are supposed to be good, I'll find out in a few days.

I know what you mean about the hid conversion being expensive. I think there are far more important things to spend money on then my headlights!!! I'm currently checking into some of the hid knock-offs that are being sold on Ebay. I'm asking people who bought them and they all seem to like them. I just dont want to burn my wiring or have to replace a lamp. I'll let you know if I find anything else out.

They don't have plasmas? The purplish look? The pic below is my car...the left bulb is a Hiper bulb while the right is a Piaa Plasma.

I had some Xaxos Xenon Blues for awhile that looked really good but they burnt out w/in like 2 months. The Piaa Plasmas look better than mine and they should last longer so i would go w/them

I have the PIAA Super PLasmas and I like them. They don't look super duper great but for the money and the piece of mind knowing they won't go out in two month's their worth it. They have a pink/purple tint to them. Their a lot brighter than regular halogens and look a lot better.

I've been runnin' ShowOff Krypton/Xenon 9006s and 9005s since March '01. They've been fantastic, and very bright! No problems here.

Sorry about the short response earlier..i was on the phone.

Well the one on the right for us viewing the picture is the Piaa Plasma bulb. It really isn't yellow...actually I don't even think it is too yellow in the picture but hey They are pretty purple in real life....especially if you look at them at an angle.

The hiper bulbs are alright..I had them in my car for about a year, no problems there. Before that I had the Piaa Platinums, no problem there either. Had them for about a year. None of my bulbs burned out btw, I just get bored really easily, and I had a friend that just kept giving my bulbs so..

The reason for changing from the hiper bulbs was also because the Piaa's offer a lower wattage while keeping the light output at a high enough number. Also, I was done with the blue look for now because everyone seems to have them around here..

Anyways, good luck in choosing a bulb. Ask many questions
