things to keep in mind when shopping for HID's.

cheap HID's will have problems. i've heard bulbs going out quickly, (which indicates a ballast issue most of the time) but really its the ballasts that suck balls.

if u do get ANY hid kit, make sure to atleast have some kind of warranty.

Most reputable places offer 2year warranties. those are usually fine.

I personally got a lifetime warranty for my HID's. They are made by OTTO. i have already had a ballast fail, and a bad a bulb (ballast messed it up while Failing). The place i got it from replaced both for free. since then no problems.

I have also heard of ppl not having any problems with cheap HID kits. it happens.

I have the same exact brand, same exact thing happened to me w/my CL. After that initial hiccup it was fine though. At 1 point my passenger side was flickering, but i hadn't tightened a connection.

I bought a 9006 6000k kit from that seller today....it has a one year warranty directly through them, and for under 90 shipped, you can't beat it. I had a cheapass Eagleeye 7000k kit on my old accord that lasted over 2 years before I sold it. I'm just gonna pimp these for the winter season and resell em because I wasn't able to start on my retro due to the shitty weather even though I have all the parts

will do, their shipping is lightning quick and it should be here and installed on thursday

like I said, I'm completely the anti non-retrofit fanatic, but I already need a 9006 wire harness, so essentially after using this plug n' play kit over these freezing winter months and parting out the ballasts and bulbs 2 months from now I know I can break even or even make money on the transaction

haha true. The gas inside the bulb and the method of illumination (electric arc ignition) are what makes the headlight HID. Projectors are just one method. The 2nd gen Cl has HID headlights, but not projectors (dammit!)

Eibach prokit is VERY conservative, sportline is pretty aggressive. With those tires you could rock a prokit, would still have some gap but if you want to lower the car, sportlines are a better choice

they are kumho asx 225/40/18 and well i guess the pro kit is a little more for comfort while the sport is more of a racing kit?

That's exactly correct, prokit is very close to stock, sport is a lot stiffer

Yes ksports are by default a stiffer config, but you can get custom spring rates and adjustable dampers

It looks like I only have the single bulb option for my 03 MDX. How does that work? HID for low beam and OEM for High?

let me tell you that i buy hid kits from ebay all the time for my self and friends. the warranty is a bunch of crap !!!! one kit didnt bring the information on who to contact or location lol it brings a card to register but no shipping address !

2nd kit one of my bulbs and ballast wher damage so the guy says yeha ill change it. pay another 15 dollars for each item i wanna replace. (kit cost 60.00 shipped) 15x's 4= 60.00

so he was getting his money back for each item he claimed to have warranty.

Buy your kids from HIDExtra on this site. There is no reason to buy a kite anywhere else. They have insane customer service.
