HID installation HELP!!

ok.,... for those with HID kits I NEED help!

the relay has 4 wires....

red for battery +
black for ground -
Green/Grey for ballast
so what de hell is the blue??

the manual looks like it connects to another wire and the wire connects to the vehicle's normal coupler??? WTF is that???

Also do I connect my original 9006 connector to the ballast or the new D2R HID bulb????

Harder than I assumed!!

the last wire is the trigger which should be the + wire from your low beam circuit.

the relay should be labeled like this

30 -> battery +

85 -> trigger (oem low beam +)

86 -> ground

87 -> to ballast +

how the relay works is when + is detected on the trigger it takes power from the batt (30) and sends it out (87). this allows you to have things turn on and off with other circuits, but not draw power from them. so when u turn ur headlamp switch in the car the relay sees the power and then closes to allow 12v from the batt to power ur ballast.

The one is screwed to the stock airbox, the other is held down with 3M double sided tape. Both will be move later, that's why I didn't screw the one down (it'll be mounted with a few other things on a bracket in the future). The stock airbox will be gone later too, so I didn't care about drilling into it. Those are the best locations on a stock car.

Same place on the passenger side. On the driver's side - I'd say on the inside of the front quarter panel.

the passenger side has the CAI... how could you put it in the same place when the stock air box isn't there anymore?
