Hi!

Just saying hi, bought a 97 2.2 cl lastnight, black on black, and i love it!

I had a question, about rusting on the rear fender, I was told to pull that rubber peice right off that lines the inner fender, this will prevent the vehicle from rusting directly in taht spot....is this true thanks?

May i suggest black rims with a deep chrome lip(black on black is siick)
good luck with the ack..take good care of her(or him)keep that black paint fresh and clean

i thought there was de-rusting sprays? no?

clean it real well and try to keep it somewhat dry

the plastic will not hurt it but it should protect it but the reason it is rusting it was chipped adn the elements are getting to it and the water makes it even worse

It isnt rusted guys, but i was told acuras/hondas tend to rust above the rear wheel well, and was suggested to take that grommet out...

It's black on black, fully loaded, 5-speed/no spoiler

Welcome!... sounds like someone is writing about me
I too, live in T.O. and got a black on black 97 2.2 (fully loaded) auto though 102k in KMs.
I do have a rust spot on my right rear fender. Getting that fixed real soon. Anyone knows a cheap good body shop? I was quoted $325 at one place.

i have 150kms no rust at all anywhere, but I was told to take that rubber grommet from the inner rear fender, and by doing this ill never have rust problems there......

I hope someone can verify this..
