Hey guys long time no post

Well guys after taking a really long vacation from the forum I'm back again but not for long. There sure are alot of new names on the forum but the post subjects look exactly the same as day I left.
Its come time to sell the CL. I really don't use it as much as should and its time for something new. I was wondering what to sell the CL for and I could think no one better to ask than the experts at a-cl.com. As you guys remember my CL was far from stock and because of that it won't be returning to stock for the sale. I've taken out the h22a4 and replaced it with the stock f23 engine, since I'll be using it on my next project or selling it for the right price. I did leave in though the h22a4 5 spd. tranny.
I guess it would help if I list the mods that are on the CL at present. Where do I start???

I guess I'll start with the performance parts: zex nitrous kit, NOS purge kit, zex bottle heater, zex pressure gauge, NOS blanket, OBX CAI, OBX CC headers, OBX racing cat, OBX exhaust, zex spark plugs, magnecore wires and b&m fuel pressure gauge.

Suspension: H&R springs on KYB AGX shocks, with ingalls camber kits front and back, PCW VX-1 17 inch wheels on toyo proxies.

Tranny: h22a4 tranny, clutch masters stage 2 clutch, s2k look a like shift knob and a white leather boot.

Audio: Panasonic H/U, 3 way pioneer speakers (6 1/2 and 6x9), 2 infinity perfect 12-inch subs, a Rockford 300 watt amp for mids and highs and a profile 800-watt amp for the bass.

What else??? Oh yeah a Carbon Fiber hood, brembo rotors front and back (slotted and x-drilled), autometer gauges on a dual pillar pod (a/f mixture and water temp), indiglos, pedals. There's probably more but I don't remember at the moment.

As far as other stuff the car is a '98 with 83,000 miles. The car was originally automatic and was converted to manual. In and out the car is in great shape, never been in accident or anything like that. So what do you think I can sell it for??? I just realized what I wrote is pretty long so I guess its time to stop writing.
Thanks for the helps guys!!!!

Let me add that I don't want to part out the CL, I just don't have the time or the stock parts to do that.

did you ever try ebay????

i would say with all the add-ons maybe you can get 12g

but thats it, cause with the more add-ons the price does go down on the original value of the car, it looks like you have like almost 10g invested, i know my 97 with 83k on it, the kbb value is 9,700

9700 + half the amount you paid for your mods

and then get your price

i would say not more than 15g is pushing it, thats why i said 12g

Good to see you back on the board....as far as all your mods go, do you think selling it locally might get you the best price? Like putting a "For Sale" sign when you drive it to the mall, school, etc? Another idea is put it in the Flyer or New Times. I rarely see modded cars in the Herald. $12k would be a decent price to start at.

Hey r0dxx, sorry but I won't be able to join this weekend. I used to have arospeed coilovers on the stock shocks which I still have lying around somewhere. Springs and shock have less than 300 miles but I'm not looking to part out.

97Acura3.0CL I was thinking somewhere around 12k. I figure I would list on auto trader first and try to sell it locally if all else fails then I'll list it on ebay. I'm just not sure what price I should list it with on autotrader?

Hows it going atl, good to see your still around. I guess I should think about the new times as well. And for sure I should put a sign on it while I'm parked at FIU. Seems like 12k is the price.

I'd take of the nitrous, that's a bad sign on a car for sale. Keep that kit for future use. Other then that in all honesty, I think you should list it at 11-12K. If you get offered 10 or more i'd take it on the spot.

Welcome back!

BTW: Did you ever run the h22 (with or without spray) at the track?

Dust I never ran it at the track. Ran into some problems before I ever really broke it in. Car sat at my friends shop for like six months with no engine in it. While I rebuilt the h22. I finally decided that I didn't want to spend anymore cash on the CL for it just to sit there. So I got the Cl running again with the f23 engine and the h22 tranny. Soon after I finshed building the h22. I'm thinking about putting the h22 in a totally stripped '92 civic hatchand having the car just for racing/track.
