hey what's up! I miss talking to you guys all the time!

I felt like I had to stop by and see how everything is going, and to say that there is life after the CL!

anyone thinking of jumping ship, get yourself a S2000!!!! even though I miss talking to you guys of ways to make the CL faster and handle better... the only thing i miss about the CL is being able to take my boys out to the bar......now I can only take one hot girl at a time! j/k

I also miss how the forums are set up here, they're so easy to search and navigate. I'm over at s2ki.com and they're like learning a freakin Linux system or something....



I came by to see if anyone is going to the rockingham NC Nopi meet in September or if anyone is gonna drive "the dragon" in august???


there are alot of S2K owners here in the charlotte area that would be happy as a pig in shit to meet other honda/acura owners.


also, there is a SCCA autocross at knights castle in fort mill SC july 10th at 9am. perhaps some of you can go!

i had to put a system into it b/c the stock system is worse than a '91 civic DX!!!


I'm waiting for my HKS Hi-Power duals to come in. damn delay b/c of holidays


I hope to have enough saved up by august for some 4.57 gears and a CF hood. This damn car is SO expensive to mod!

 

oh yeah, and I ended up having 113K on the clock with the best CL tranny ever! I swear I pushed that baby hard!


Someone bought my car on ebay the end of april for about 5500. traded it in at Hendrick Honda for 4800.....not bad, but I had that much in mods done

 

Nice to see you stranger. I think they are forming a Charlotte Meet you should check out the meet section and try and get the S2k guys to go there.

 

Good to see you again Dre, glad things are working out with the s2k. You got lucky on your tranny, sounds like it was one of the only ones that they made right. Have fun with the s2000.

S2K are sweet, but what the fuck with the instrument cluster... I hate that. Give me some real guages.

 

I go up to the dragon every couple of weeks. What day in August are the Hondas going? I can gather up a couple of guys from Knoxville to go. Let me know what your whip look like, and what day you will be there. Here is a picture of my ride up near the dragon.

actually, that's what kept me from getting a s2000 when I got the CL.....I didn't think I could handle it..

Now it's great b/c there's no guessing what the gauges say....I got the exact speed, RPM's, engine temp,....and there's like 25 bars for fuel so it's all pretty precise. And it's all "there", I don't even feel like I take my eyes off the road!


And plus, it's nice to have an RPM band go across the whole cluster! When I shift gears it's like watching a tennis match!




thirdrail---- I believe the dragon run is scheduled for the last weekend in august for now.....i think it's like the 26, 27 and 28.
