so it turns out that the 3.0 subframe doesn't bolt up to the 4cyl chasis, well the front piece anyways. So im using the stock 4cyl subframe front/back, kind of a waste to get the 3.0 subframe but i just swapped the 3.0 power steering over so that i can have PS in this bitch..

got the motor in today for a test fit & it fit pretty damn well, just have to mash up where the tranny hits the subframe & the pass frame rail so the bracket can sit flush but except for that it looks DAMN GOOD lol..

didnt get a chance to snap a pic but i'll get some 2morrow, hopefully bolted in if all goes well..

some pics from the last couple days..

picked these up for $100 bucks, they're gonna get chopped up..

uhh ohhh...

rear mount/bracket..

driver side..

pass side..

Basic idea of what she's gonna look like..

Well im gonna have to get fancy with the mount brackets cuz as you can see in the pics the pass side & especially the driver side are off. So, im gonna make measurements and send the brackets to a fabrication shop down the street to widen & reinforce the driver bracket. I think i may be able to get away with the pass side the way it is & just adjust the driver side..

Nothings gonna happen motor mounting wise since im waiting to grab axles to make sure everything lines up properly before i start drilling/tapping away.

On another note, swapped over the CL-S Bose speakers..

You have made extremely wise and good decisions with this swap, but this is not one of them

Well my buddy use to own a CL-S and the stock system wasnt bad at all IMO.. Thats why i didnt think twice about swapping these speakers over, that and my OEM speakers from 97' are WAY past their time so it's a nice upgrade..

There ok, but there the very low end of bose. I'm planning on keeping mine, but just wish they had more depth to them.

Are the Bose 6x9's in the CLS any different then the 1st gens? I loved my first gen's but the 2nd gen already have CHITTY alpines that are blown.

He didn't loop it cuz he has the cl-s power steering pump hooked up. So no need to loop it. I rather have power steering than loop it anyhow.

What axle issue are you having? I use the stock Acura 3.0 CL axles btw.

Are you trying to fit our axles into a 2.x wheel hub?

pm box is open for you btw
