I'm asking a question for my friend who has a 99 prelude. I know this is an acura forum but what the hell. He recently bought new tires.. bridgestone re730... and he has been reading that these tires are notorious for a lot of noise at high speeds. Bridgestone says he has to rotate them often to get really even tread wear otherwise he'll just get tire noise. Anyone have this problem and what can he do? Can you ever return tires??? or exchange them?? thanks for the help guys

they were quiet when new...

now....they are noisy......after bout 25k miles.....


the re730's are known too get noisier as they age

 

have you had to rotate your tires more often than usual??? or do you just deal with it? thanks man

 

i rotate my tires regularly.....but theres a point in time that comes when the tires get somewhat worn and get noisy.....so i just deal with it

i am looking forward to a new set of tires.....im gonna get kumho ecsta 712....cheap, grippy, and QUIET!!!

 

More like inexpensive, great, but shitty tread life...and even decent in the snow. I am on my second set.
