Help SacTown Cl on Jack Stands

ok... I am with out air compressor or air tools only hand tools.
The bolt that holds on the rear driver side strut is over torqued. Towing is not an option and I am stubborn. I was tring somthin in the shop yesterda and wont have access to the shop for 2 more weeks. I added a spacer on the back strut to try and level ou the front and back. Now my breaker bar cannot free the bolt. I tried real hard and the bar slipped and I almost stripped the bolt so... Any tricks?

If any one has access to a compressor and a torque wrench in the greater sacramento area PLEASE HELP. I refuse to ride with my backend 3 1/2" above the wheel well. even the coilovers wont drop it enough. All I need is a drive by unbolting something that would take 30 seconds. Id even pay for the gas to come to me

If you can help PM me or even email me anytime is good 11pm to 1pm is all I canhandle cause my girl is driving me to work now

you had a bad experience with those bolts?

guess what?

so did about 95% of every CL owner who has tried putting on aftermarket struts.

Be prepared to buy a new one (and quite possibly a bushing to go with it) once you get it off.

they arent very expensive at all from the dealers I think... cant go over 10$ methinks?

hopefully you wont need to buy one. Good luck (and make sure you got plenty of wd40? for that sucker)

someone told me that Ice feeling spray that you use on cuts that gets real cold, if you spray that on the head of the bolt, you can get it to cantract from the strut a little and it will loosen up

wtf are you guys talking about? I had no trouble with any bolts on the car except a tiny bit of trouble with the rear lower bolts. breaker bar + a jack under the part the bolt goes through to relieve pressure on teh bolt = easy win.

you guys lose.

edit: oh wait, you mean the rear ones. sooo yeah, use jack stand as said, then I used the X bar I used to remove the lugs on one side, and just a ratchet on ratchet on the other side, and turned each in opposite directions at the same time, one with each hand.
