help - rear lip
help - rear lip
Finally got around to getting it painted and tried to install it. Used 3m double sided tape, lots of screws. It looked good for about 10 mins...and then it started to peal. The sides are alright but the back isn't staying on....
Any tricks or tips? maybe I just didn't clean the lip enough for the tape to stick on to?

Try sliding it up about 1/2 inch and double up on the double sided tape. Did you put screws in the middle once you got it where you wanted it? Also try recleaning and reapplying some 3m double sided
Ah... yea looks like I'll have to take it off, clean it thoroughly and put it back on. I think it was lower than it should've been.
I thinkkk I put the middle screws in first. But I really forced everything into place...hoping the tape would hold. fuck 3m tape is expensive too
....taking it off is gonna suck. Any way of taking the tape off easier? I had to use some special 3m strip and clean disk to take the old tape off the lip, I'm not sure if the disc will be safe for my bumper.
