no i have a cai. the chance it hitting a big puddle and having water sucked up into your engine, its called hydrolocking. then your motor is done. I know the chance of it happening is pretty slim, but after lunchbox did it last month , i just dont want to take the chance. it was raining harder than ive seen it in a long time.

This week im gonna take a hack saw to it, and make it an sri so i dont have to worry about it anymore.

its an sri, u dont have anything to worry about. mine goes in my down into my fender, and i dont have any fenderlinings around it, so its exposed to air, and any water if i hit a big puddle. i live near seattle , so it rains a lot, usually its nothing to worry about, but we have gotten some extreme rain the last couple of days. i just dont want to hit a big puddle, and have my motor go to shit

The one that you showed a link to is a short ram. The filter of a CAI goes down into the wheel well and sits right behind the wheel well lining. So if you go through a deep puddle with a CAI, there is a possibility of water being sucked into the engine=hydrolocking. If you get hydrolocked with an SRI, you probably have bigger problems

ABS= not good. they make a cheap abs one for our cars, but everyones has fallen off or broke. All it takes is a light breeze to blow those things off( or so i have heard). Just get the ww lip, i guarentee u will be happier if u do. Just keep lookin around for a good, deal. got mine for 100
