Did you already pull the guage cluster out? You can pop the dimmer out from the back if need be. The dimmer has 2 clips on each side that hold it in.

I hooked mine up to the dimmer, no problems. Your not going to use the dimmer once you get the indiglo's on, so why not use them??

They don't make them for the CL. The ones for the Accord is the same one. 94-97 Accord indiglo guages all over EBAY.

Well, the manual just says to pry it out. I would use a small flat head screw driver. The clips are on the right and left side of the switch.

Yeah, that's because the wiring harness doesn't have enough slack to pull it out. Your gonna have to try to disconnect it before your able to pull it all the way out. Can you get to it from underneath? Maybe push wiring harness with the screwdriver while pulling on the switch from the front?

Sorry, it's been a long time since I took mine out.

yeah, when i did mine the dimmer wouldnt come out because the wires werent long enough. i ended up breaking the dimmer control because i got real mad. i also ended up breaking the glass covering, and the fuel and temp gauges. so i ordered new parts and its all in now.
