didnt you post recently about your wheels being scratched or broken studs?

if you did, then the shop is trying to get around buying you new ones.

anything can happen at any shop. so yes, its possible.

honestly, it's pretty un common for them to do this. I honestly think you just didn't realize the rim got bent. That happens all the time!

I agree with ghander. Why would tires plus purposly bend or chip or crack your rim?? That just plan doesn't make sense. If it were some small private shop...maybe. But not a big chain like Tires Plus. They make better money if they don't scam people. I would just tell myself that it got cracked. It happens. How many miles do you have on the rims??

Yeah, didn't you say you bought the rims used and refinished them?? They could have had a little bund or crack already that was too small to notice, but when you drove on them it got bigger. Plus, did they even show you the bend/crack?? It might be really small still, and not that big of a deal, but if it's some huge crack, that sucks.

There is realy no way for you to prove that it wasn't there before you took it in. Also, is the crack/bend on the outside? Or is it where the tire covers so you can't see. If it's on the inside, you probably did it yourself without knowing.
