Unhappy Help!!! CL 97' Alignment

I went to do alignment today.
They told me that I have to replace the front upper contral arms coz of bushings are worn-out.
And I was told that I have to replace the whole part, which will cost $700+ (including labor and parts)..
Is that a reasonable price??
Shall I go to Acura dealer to check it again?

You don't need to replace the arms, just get the bushings pressed in, as longs as your CA's aren't bent you shouldn't need to replace them. I got this kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Energ...QQcmdZViewItem

And had my chassis shop put them in for like $300, he did my ball joints too, did they say anything about your ball joints?

Bummer man. It's always a slap in the face when you go to do maintence to your car at a shop, and they tell you you're not done spending money.

I changed my upper control arms when I installed my agx's and neuspeeds in the front.. I had a broken ball joint though.. It's not hard though.. just a little time consuming.. I need to get an allignment now..

Thanks a lot BlackAck.. I was looking for a bushing kit..

Yeah... I asked them today.
Bushings and ball joints are all worn-out, in both sides...
So you mean, I don't need to replace all of the control arms, and only put new bushings and ball joints in?

I'm estimating, he did a LOT of work for me, the total labor was right around $600, but I had him replace all my bushings, my balljoints, my sways and all their bushings, plus install my coils, and front lower strut brace, and it took him 10.5 hours so I estimate about half that was for the bushings, he also had to take his time cutting and heating all my bushings that were pressed in as well as the balljoints which he had to break out. Plus breaking loose all the 10 y/o rusted bolts
