HELP!! changing fuel filter

ok im trying to change my fuel filter... im down to the filter and the fuel supply line. this is the hard part. should i turn the wrenches toward each other, or apart from each other?

I did this once.
Ill never do it again!
My big hands do not fit down there.
Ill take it to a shop and have them relocate it somewhere else.

It says DO NOT SMOKE WHILE WORKING ON FUEL SYSTEM. I wonder why they say that.

thanks dustbuster4.. i put everthing back to together and brought it to my machanic. he charge me 10 bucks to do it. i got him an invoice program for his shop..
