I changed my spark plugs, wires, air filter and gave it an oil change back in September of 2004 and nothing else. Now the maintenance light is red again, the obvious question is.... do I have to do everything over again and should I have done the distributor cap, fuel filter back then too? Your help is greatly appreciated.

 

the little thing comes on at set dates... its not like a check engine light... look in the manual to see what it calls for

 

u haven't done an oil change since Sept

 

thats just regular maintenance....oil and trans. But as far as those other things you should check on them to make sure they are in working order.

Yeah I hope that you changed your oil since sept 04.

But like everyone else said, it just comes on after so many thousand miles, if u dont' reset it.
