Has anyone done a custom headliner on a 1st Gen CL...or has pictures of CL's with custom headliners.

I really want to do something different with my headliner...my buddy has on his Jetta an arigal headliner,my buddy's Golf has a Checkered one, being gray interior i would want to do a grey suede.

Someone in the past went with a black suede. It looked great. But I can't recall what all he had done in that black suede. The only mental picture I have is of the visors. Hopefully someone else will remember whom I'm talking about.

shogo2.3cl (?) had suede in his interior, i think it was the doors and something else. its worth a look.

 

i redid mine.
