Headlights

Where can I find a good price on headlights for our cars? I have tried to restore them with that stuff they sell in the stores but no luck getting them clear again. Should I try to take them to a pro and get them restored?

the pro is gonna do the same thing the kits do.

sand the plastic to take off the layer of haze.
then polish to make it crystal clear
then add a UV sealant.

Ive had great luck with turtle wax headlight restoration kit. it comes with everything you need. the drill attachment , 4 gritts of sandpaper , a wet sanding lubricant , the final step polish and a lens sealing wipe. Just take your time on the wet sanding their are 4 diffrent levels and its key for crystal clear lenses. its agood idea to use masking tape to protect your paint. Good luck dude . don't let the "pros" take your money

I have used two different type of kits. One is just some type of polish and sealant and that didn't work very well but the one that hooked to a drill and had different grit sandpaper did a very good job. There are other types that hook to a drill I haven't tried so I can not comment on them about how well they work but I know the one with the sand paper does a good job. You can probably get like a 1800-2400 grit wet/dry sandpaper and take the top layer off yourself and then use the polish and seal it and it work just as good as what I am talking about
