quite a few of us have done it so far and nobody has had any negative problems if your doing it right, which is hard to do if you follow the DIY step for step. your headlights are held together with a silicone, and u would use silicone to seal back up. fwiw i have hid's in mine and no problems, no leaks, no streaks, and no rainbow effects. still looks as good now as it did 2 months ago when i did it.
no, that would turn on my high beams not my foglights. my turning signals are in my foglights i dont know if this is factory or a mod of the previous owner. help ?
According to your avatar picture, your car does not have factory fogs and therefore there will be no switch.

this thread went way off track, I can clean up some posts if you want spence, just lemme know. And yes, for all the n00bs, fog lights are seperate light housings, mounted usually in the middle of the bumper like the pic above, please keep this thread on topic. This thread is about headlights, spence if u wanna post a link to what you did with your corners, feel free as well, lemme know if u want me to clean this up

looking good
it was a longtime goal of mine back in the day to turn the 7440s into static driving lights -- if you woudn't be offended at an unsolicited suggestion:
maybe wire both high and low 194s to act as signals?

yeah, i used a transparent glass paint, and used many coats to achieve the reflectiveness and color i wanted. even though the paint was yellow, it came out a little gold, which was perfect because he has gold rims. yet when you did turn on the high beams it still came out yellow even with out a yellow high beam bulb.

actually... it can go either way. foglights are usually yellow in color. such as older lexus's, which have them in the headlight housings.... DA integras... legends... making them yellow would resemble them as foglights. But as u did say usually... it can go either way, just that if they are yellow in color.
lights are lookin nice!
