headlight re-aiming adjustments broken?

Is it possible to break those adjustment knobs? I can turn them...but they spin waaay to easily...and the bubble in the levelers don't move anymore. And yes...i'm adjusting the right one...

Yes it is possible that they may break. Not the turning knobs themselves but what they turn. Inside the headlights is a contraption that works like a screw and a nut. Turning the knob tightens the screw and it pulls the headlight in or pushes it out therefore, you can align it. Break it and all you feel is easy turning.

You would have to open it up and if it's not too bad which usually is the case then epoxy or superglue will work fine.

I hope this helped.

Yeah, the screw / nut assembly that adjusts the direction is plastic so it can wear out and get stripped, making the adjustment useless.

so there is no way of adjusting the light left and right if the gear is stripped?....only choice is buying new headlights?
