headlight harness

headlight harness

the wire going into the harness that holds the low beam bulb is lose so the light goes on and off. what is the official name/part # for that and is it something i can just replace myself or does it require and special tools/soldering??

You would need to splice the wires and install new harnesses. You can get new harnesses for cheap on ebay, just get a set of 9006 wire harnesses and splice the 2 wires going to your old harnesses it's really simple. I actually have a set of high current harnesses that I never used, let me check and see if I still have them.

you can even buy the universal 9006 harnesses at Autozone or Walmart for like 5 bucks a pop

what bulbs are you running? stock or anything over 65watts? could be melting your harness. just a thought.
