what kind of bulb is in the corner section of the headlight. It looks like its some kind of flashlight bulb but i want to get LED's for the two corners. I already know that the lower corner bulb is a 174 i just need the bulb type of the upper one in the headlight

The upper and lower corners are the same bulb, as are the rear corners in the tail lights and the license plate bulbs, all listed in the n00b guide

thats not the bulb i was looking for in my car it has a round base it looks like the kind of bulb that can be found in a flashlight. it is not a wedge base bulb

Owners manual calls those "parking lights"

Funny, I've replaced my corner lights top and bottom 6 or 7 times, and all the bulbs I used were 194/168 wedge bulbs

Just look in your owners manual and know for sure.

Maybe the previous owner did some kind of crazy corner retrofit?

idk i just know that when i burnt one out it was a regular bulb and i got a replacement for 15 cents at the gas station. it was just chillin in this bin lol

They do resemble police maglight flash light bulbs in a way
