Most of the headers made for the car are smog legal. If they want to be a-holes about it, they could look up the CARB number on the header. I'm not sure how the # is looked up, but I would imagine that they would expect to see an Accord and not a CL.

if they have a CARB # then yes, otherwise no. But I really wouldn't worry about it unless you have to go get smoged soon.

Are CARB#'s issued for engines or cars? In other words, if I had a header, intake, etc. specified for an accord, would there be any problems if I had it installed on my CL (problems at the Califonia state smog station)?

I think they're legal as long as the oxygen sensor is hooked up. You can probably get a CARB exemption certificate from the mfgr. I'm probably gonna get a hard time when smog time rolls around again - my OBX header has 2 bungs for the oxy sensor, one on a primary tube and one on the collector. I think Accords use the bung on the primary and CLs use the bung on the collector. When you look at the header, the first thing you see is the plugged bung on the primary. Mr. Smog guy will have a problem with that for sure.
