I think I have a crack in my exhaust manifold (or so my dad says) and it's been there since I got the car. The engine makes this weird noise (here's a clip). I'm plannin to get an H22A to replace this weak engine with almost 150K miles, but I'm told that I should buy some headers for now. Should I or shouldn't I?

If so, which headers should I get and where can I get some for cheap (besides eBay because I haven't seen any auctions yet)?

our f engines tick so god damn loud. anyways it definitely sounds bad. a header is gonna set you back bout $300. i know dc ceramics cost that much. i have dc ceramics. they are great but now that im dropped i think i want to switch to stainless. i hit them last week and i kno wits a matter of time b4 i hit them hard enough to crack them.

Could be just the exhaust gasket though. Did you see the crack?
Try maybe torquing down the nuts a little.....Just an idea....
