Hey
I know our engine is the same as the accord so when looking for lets say headers, does the model of accord matter such as EX, LX whatever?
The ones im looking at are hp motorsports and they say its for a EX 4 cyl.
Any tips on headers would be great.
Comptechs cost to much, DC's would be about the most i would be willing to pay.

first of all u couldnt get comptech even if you wanted to...they dont make it for your car...ionly for the v6's...and you would get the headers from the accord. simple as that...the 97 which has the same engine block

 

i have a 99 2.3 and i have the headers for the 2.2EX accord. The funny thing is that i have to get it for the 2.2 94-97 accord even tho i have the same engine as the 98+ accord. Its just the piping underneath and the o2 placement that makes u have to get the 94-97 accord EX model. If u have a 2.2 than the headers should fit perfectly.

 

yes u need the 94-97ex hhc5017. 98+ I4 hhc5018 are the exact same header except it bolts directly to the cat instead of the small piping before the cat with the 02 sensor in it. those are dc cc header #'s

i got a 97 2.2CL too bruh...any 97 accord EX parts will fit your car, everything under the hood...power chips all that shit....i think acutally everything you can get for a 2 door 97 ex accord will fit on the cl......
