Header Install Interrupted by Darkness!
Gaskets came with the OBX headers.
You can also use OEM gaskets as well (we did this on dajuice27's install--I had an extra set, and his headers didn't come with gaskets).

wow, so just a simple move of the rear downpipe to the drivers side of the car and it fit perfectly? That's really nice to know. I jsut spent all my money on getting my CL, so I think I'll be waiting a while before I actually do anything to it. It's funny because my car is better than any of the other cars in my family. Well, I just paid off $1000 of the money I owe my mom who helped me buy this yesterday. As soon as I get my previous car sold, I'll pay off another grand, and then there will only be $800 to go. THEN I can start buying shit for it, IF the insurance isn't off the charts.
I'm still a bit confused on how the downpipe should be bent. the picture he supplied doesn't totally make sense. Here's my question with pic:

nos is it supposed to be bent at circle 1, 2, or 3? That can make a big difference. if it's in two then where in 2 should it be bent? if it's in 3 then are we just twisting the pipe to move the upward part of that downpip over? Is that what causes the twist in the exhaust system? If it's at 1 then we are just pushing that rear section of the downpipe closer to the pipe that connects to the cat right?
Anybody have an answer for me?

oh yeah, and I have a strange question for you all. Would it mbe more efficient or less efficent to have seperate exuast pipes for each of the sets of 3 cylinders of the V6? meaning the front 3, woud have it's owndownpipe to it's own cat, and then from there it would have it's own muffler on the drivers side of the car, and the rear 3 would have it's own downpipe to a sepaerate cat, and it's own muffler on the passenger side of hte car? Would that make any gains? And I don't just mean in our cars, I mean in any V6+ car.
I'm sure something like that would be used only in racing applications so lets just say without the cats, just straight from teh cylinders to back with their own piping and mufflers.

at circle 2 bent it an inch towards the flex pipe... pretty easy to understand. right when the tube stops curving... u use that as the axis point of the bend.
dude look at the pipe that you have... if you set it on the ground like in the picture the pipe is verticle and bends in an L shape and becomes horizontal... where the pipe becomes horizontal somewhere in circle 2 you make the bend using that point as the axis for the bend...
you bend at that point the pipe one inch inward towards the flex pipe.
