header gasket question

header gasket question

i just purchased a set of headers however they did not send me a header gasket.. i want to replace the one that i have on now... the only problem is none of the stores pepboys autozone etc around here have them in stock... will i be able to use an 94-97 accord gasket for the headers for my 2.2.. if anyone can answer this.. thanks in advance...

go to acura dealership..... but i would assume the accord ones fit.

actually i have.. i called the dealer and they told me that it would take a week for them to get. same as every other place.. i was just asking becuz i can purchase the accord gasket today and do the install tommorow.. but i just wanted to know if there might be a chance that some air might leak

advise.... if you have trouble getting the bolts off I think they are 14mm ones on the downpipe... spray some WD40 wait like 30 minutes turn your engine on let the pipes warm up turn car off then proceed to remove bolts... just be careful because the piping is really hot but that might be the only way to get the bolts off.
