i am not getting it through gude, i saw that but, i am going to this local shop. the i am getting the GUDE camshaft but not the whole package. the new powerband will be form 5000 -7200 rpm so the redline is like a stock lude. i am gonna tear up the street

I have a friend with a 98 Lude that did a similar setup and was very pleased. I would love to do something like this instead of a swap, but I can't seem to find any shops that will do it for a decent price. Guess I didn't really look that hard though. Let us know how much you're paying, and let us know how it feels once its done. The higher redline should be fun!

damn. . . ! 2 grand? how about a h22 swap. all you need is a motor and an ecu. you can use your stock 5 speed tranny. 30 hp is terrible. with a h22 you get 50hp and some torque. plus doing an engine swap cost less than head work.
